1. How Our Tools Handle Your Files

This is the most important part of our policy, so we'll be direct: ToolWeb tools run 100% in your browser. When you use a tool — such as the image converter, image compressor, JSON formatter, or any other utility — your file is read into your browser's local memory, processed there using WebAssembly, and the result is returned to you directly.

Your files are never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted over the internet, and never stored by us. When you close or refresh the page, anything you were working on is cleared from memory. We have no copies because we never received them in the first place.

2. Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. The information involved falls into three groups:

• Your files and tool input (not collected): As explained above, the content you load into a tool stays on your device and is never sent to us.
• Information you choose to give us: If you email us — for example, to report a bug or suggest a tool — we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to respond to you.
• Information collected automatically: When you visit, our analytics and advertising partners may record standard technical data such as your approximate region, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, and which pages you view. This does not identify you personally and is used to understand overall usage and keep the site running.
