About ToolWeb
ToolWeb is a free online toolbox of 20+ utilities — image converters, compressors, code formatters, color tools, and text helpers — that run entirely inside your web browser. Because every tool processes your files on your own device, nothing is ever uploaded to a server, so your data stays completely private.
What is ToolWeb?
ToolWeb is a free online utility website that brings together the everyday tools developers, designers, students, and office workers reach for most — without the usual trade-offs. There are no accounts to create, no software to install, no watermarks, and no daily limits. You open a page, use the tool, and get your result in seconds.
What makes ToolWeb different is where the work happens. Most online converters and editors upload your files to a remote server, process them there, and send the result back. ToolWeb does the opposite: every calculation, conversion, and edit runs locally on your own computer or phone. Your files never travel across the internet, which means faster results and genuine privacy.
Why we built ToolWeb
We kept running into the same frustrations with "free" online tools: surprise sign-up walls, files uploaded to unknown servers, aggressive ads that buried the actual tool, and feature limits designed to push a subscription. For something as simple as resizing an image or formatting a JSON file, that felt like too much.
ToolWeb is our answer. We believe small, practical tools should be instant, respectful of your privacy, and free for everyone. Modern browsers are powerful enough to handle this work on their own — so that's exactly what we built.
How ToolWeb works
ToolWeb tools are powered by WebAssembly — high-performance code compiled from Rust that runs directly in your browser at near-native speed. When you drop in a file, it's read into your browser's memory, processed on the spot, and handed straight back to you. It never leaves your device.
Private by design
Your files are processed locally and are never uploaded, stored, or seen by us. Privacy isn't a setting you switch on — it's how ToolWeb is built.
Instantly fast
With no uploads and no server round-trips, results appear the moment you press the button. Even large images are handled in seconds, right on your device.
Free, with no catch
No account, no email, no watermark, no usage limits. Every tool is free to use as often as you like, on any device with a modern browser.

Privacy is not optional
We can't lose, leak, or sell data we never collect. Keeping your files on your device is the foundation everything else is built on.
Simple beats clever
Each tool does one job and does it well. No clutter, no confusing options — just the fastest path from your file to your result.
Free and open access
Useful tools shouldn't sit behind a paywall. ToolWeb is free to use, with no account and no limits, for anyone with an internet connection.
Works everywhere
ToolWeb runs in any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS — no installation and nothing to keep updated.
Who builds ToolWeb
ToolWeb is built and maintained by Mohit Khatri, an independent software developer who designs and ships web and mobile applications. Every tool here — and the privacy-first WebAssembly engine that powers them — is built and tested in-house, not assembled from third-party widgets.
